Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GLM52.ai handles information when you browse the site, prepare or send a contact email, or follow an outbound link. Google Analytics 4 loads by default; the site does not display an analytics cookie banner or store a site-level analytics preference. GLM52.ai currently has no user accounts, comments, newsletter forms, payment forms, or direct file uploads.

This is a practical disclosure for the site’s current operation, not a jurisdiction-specific legal opinion. Privacy rights and operator obligations may differ by location.

Who is responsible

GLM52.ai is independently operated by an individual publisher based in China. The operator is responsible for the site’s publishing, analytics, contact-email, and affiliate-link decisions under the public brand GLM52.ai. Privacy questions can be sent to hi@glm52.ai. The full Disclosure explains the publication identity and third-party service boundaries without asking visitors to send private identity documents.

Information processed when you visit

GLM52.ai is delivered through Cloudflare. Like most web infrastructure, Cloudflare may process request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser and device information, network information, approximate location derived from an IP address, and security signals. Cloudflare may also use strictly necessary cookies or similar storage for security and network functions.

Cloudflare also injects its Web Analytics beacon into production pages to measure aggregate page views and real-user performance. Cloudflare states that this service uses no cookies or localStorage, does not fingerprint individuals, and does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. The beacon records limited navigation and timing metrics and sends them to Cloudflare independently of GA4. The site does not ask you to submit account credentials, payment details, source-code files, or uploads. The Contact page lets you enter an optional name, a page URL, a subject, and a message to prepare an email on your own device.

Contact emails

The Contact page runs in your browser. Selecting Prepare email creates a mailto: draft and asks your device to open its configured email application. GLM52.ai does not receive, transmit, or store the form fields before that application opens. Nothing is sent until you review and send the draft in your email application.

When you send an email to hi@glm52.ai, your email provider processes the message. Cloudflare Email Routing processes it for forwarding, and Google processes it in the destination Gmail mailbox used by the GLM52.ai editorial team. The message may contain your sending address, display name, subject, body, headers, routing data, and any other information or attachments you choose to include.

Contact messages are used to review corrections, sources, feedback, topic requests, and related correspondence. Do not send passwords, API keys, confidential source code, payment information, or sensitive personal information. Email is not a secure channel for secrets.

Google Analytics

GLM52.ai loads Google Analytics 4 on every page by default. The Google tag is configured with analytics_storage granted, so it may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<measurement-id> to distinguish browsers and maintain session state. The site does not use a login identifier or send a custom User-ID to GA4.

The default GA4 implementation can process page views, navigation and engagement events, referring pages, session statistics, approximate geography, browser and device information, and a first-party client identifier. Google states that GA4 uses IP addresses at collection time to derive location information and discards them before logging the data. GLM52.ai also measures clicks on labeled outbound provider links. Affiliate links use an event named affiliate_outbound_click; non-affiliate editorial provider links use provider_outbound_click. The event includes the provider name, relationship type, first-party outbound path, destination URL, and visible link text. The site does not intentionally send names, email addresses, payment data, contact-form contents, private prompts, or API credentials to Google Analytics.

Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, Google Signals, and ad-personalization signals remain disabled in the site’s tag configuration. Analytics data is used to understand which guides are useful and where navigation can improve—not to sell visitor profiles. Browser blocking, network filtering, and other technical limits mean GA4 should not be treated as a complete count of every visitor.

The current production site does not load AdSense or another display-ad unit. If display advertising is added later, this policy and the production consent configuration must be updated before those ad scripts are enabled.

Affiliate and external links

Some pages contain clearly disclosed affiliate or sponsored links, as well as ordinary editorial links to providers discussed in an article. GLM52.ai uses a first-party path such as /glm52/go/zai to count and maintain the link, then redirects immediately to the external provider. There is no confirmation page. Editorial links do not create a commercial relationship unless the page expressly discloses one.

When you follow an external link, the destination receives an ordinary web request and may process your IP address, browser information, referrer information subject to this site’s referrer policy, and any data you later provide there. The destination’s own privacy policy and terms apply after you leave GLM52.ai. Affiliate partners may report aggregated conversion or credit information to the site operator.

Cookies and your choices

The site does not display an analytics cookie banner, does not deploy a region-specific EEA/UK consent-management platform, and does not store a choice in localStorage. GA4 analytics cookies are enabled by default. You can block or delete cookies and third-party scripts through your browser, privacy extension, DNS or network controls. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which Google says prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript running on websites from sharing visit activity with GA4.

Blocking GA4 or deleting analytics cookies does not restrict access to site content, although a later page view may create a new analytics cookie unless your browser or blocking tool continues to prevent it. Google’s opt-out add-on does not disable Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare documents as operating without cookies or other client-side state.

Why information is used

Information is processed only for purposes connected with operating this publication:

delivering pages and static assets;
preventing abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
diagnosing availability and performance problems;
measuring aggregate readership, navigation, outbound-provider clicks, and real-user performance through Cloudflare Web Analytics and default-loaded GA4;
reviewing and responding to voluntary contact messages;
maintaining affiliate attribution and disclosed commercial relationships; and
complying with applicable legal obligations.

Cloudflare and Google retain information according to their services, configured settings, and legal obligations. GLM52.ai does not promise a fixed retention period that it cannot independently verify. Analytics user-level and event-level retention is controlled through the Google Analytics property, while aggregated reports may remain longer.

Information may be processed by Cloudflare as the site-delivery, security, and email-routing provider; by Google when GA4 loads by default or when an email reaches the destination Gmail account; and by an affiliate destination after you choose to leave the site. GLM52.ai does not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect the site and its users.

Contact emails may remain in the sender’s mailbox, transit systems, Cloudflare routing systems as necessary to deliver the message, and the destination Gmail mailbox. GLM52.ai keeps useful correspondence as long as needed to review the request, document a correction, maintain appropriate records, or handle abuse. You can ask for deletion, but legal, security, backup, and provider-level limits may apply.

Because these providers operate internationally, information may be processed outside your country. Their own privacy documentation describes applicable safeguards.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. The most immediate controls are your browser’s cookie and tracking controls, blocking extensions or network tools, and Google’s opt-out add-on.

Requests concerning information held independently by Cloudflare, Google, an email provider, or an affiliate provider should be made through that provider’s privacy channels.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated when the site’s data practices, analytics configuration, providers, or visitor controls materially change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version.
